A
painting expressing six concepts of creation and one of
eternity:
Birth:
…In the beginning…..Breishis….Symbolizing the birth of the
world; of our pure souls…
Light:
Visualized here by the intense light emanating and
contrasting the darkness…..G-d separated between the light
and the darkness.…Light; representing knowledge and
understanding…Binah…
Joy:
G-d's promise to bring forth Yitzhak…the hope we see in our
children, hence our future as a people…..represented here by
the image of Yitzhak in beauty and joy….Tiferet…
Spirituality:
Abraham gave all he had to Isaac….Chesed; loving kindness...
and Yitzhak dedicated his life to Torah study….visualized
here by the image of Yitzhak and The Wall….
Promise:
G-d said: ….for I give all the land that you see to you and
your ancestors forever….. visualized here by Masada and
surrounding land……We feel G-d's empathy; Hod…
Struggle:
….rescue me from my pursuers….Gevurah; strength….visualized
here by writings; some depicting strife and standing strong
through adversity…..transcendence…
Eternity:
….like the days of heaven on earth….in our ultimate
connection with
G-d…..Chochma; Wisdom.
